As a new economic type, the digital economy is based on cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, blockchain, mobile Internet and other Information Communication Technologies as the carrier. The innovation and integration of Information Communication Technology drives the change of social production methods and the improvement of production efficiency.

With the continuous breakthrough of industrial application scale, driven by the era of digital economy, the artificial intelligence industry is gradually gaining a foothold in the "mature stage", and has begun to empower customers from all walks of life to realize their efficient digital transformation and development. The rapid development of the digital economy is creating favorable development conditions and technical environment for the entire artificial intelligence industry, and artificial intelligence, as a key new technical capability, is also being regarded as the core driving force for the development of the entire country's digital economy

Being applied and shared, data privacy and security issues are particularly prominent, which can easily lead to risks such as personal information leakage and cyber attacks.

In order to cope with the opportunities and challenges of the new era, Guangdong University of Science and Technology, in conjunction with a number of institutions and enterprises, held the 2024 International Academic Conference on Digital Economy and Artificial Intelligence in the Greater Bay Area (DEAI2024). This conference is in-cooperate with SIGAI. The conference will be held in Hong Kong, China from January 19-21, 2024. The conference is also invited to support IEEE Fellows, SPIE Fellows and other experts and scholars from Nanyang Technological University, Peking University, Fudan University and other institutions in Singapore. The conference will share the latest research results in digital economy, artificial intelligence, etc. At the same time, it will conduct discussions on current research hotspots, future research trends, related professional construction, and social practice in this field, promote in-depth exchanges between scientific research scholars and industry experts, and promote the development of the above fields.

All papers will be reviewed by two or three expert reviewers from the conference committees. After a careful reviewing process, all accepted papers will be published in Conference Proceedings and will be submitted for Ei Compendex and Scopus.
